
Xololanxinxo is one of Los Angeles' most innovative poets. He comes from a mexican family full of musicians song writers poets composers and artist... By age 9 Xolo was already freestyling and B-Boying at local functions such as the Radio Tron, The Cut, and World on Wheels.
In 1991, Xolo joined forces with fellow emcee 2mex to form the group Of Mexican Descent. His notable contributions to the LA underground movement are with a distinct, melodic word play. His unorthodox style has established a legacy of innovation that resonates to this day.
Xololanxinxo also had a 2006 release of a band project called Toca which encompassed rock styles with jazz funk punk and many other genres! The album was very avant garde progressive and interesting.. Now Xolo is returning with a new super group project called

Xololanxinxo (pronounced Cholo-lan-cinco), born Daniel Rodriguez, represents a unique breed of Xicano lyricist stemming from the roots of Los Angeles underground hip hop.
At age 9, Xinxo began rapping around clubs such as the Radiotron where future legends such as Ice T and the Syndicate frequented.
In 1991, Xinxo teamed up with emcee 2Mex to launch the progressive hip hop group Of Mexican Descent. Soon after their conception, OMD became an integral part of the Los Angeles underground hip hop movement based around the groundbreaking Goodlife Cafe that spawned innovators and hit makers such as The Freestyle Fellowship, The Pharcyde, Skee-Lo, and Jurassic 5.
Of Mexican Descent dropped their debut release Exitos y Mas Exitos that featured the underground classics “ I Am Still” and “Money Is Meaningless”. This album cemented OMD as a staple of west coast underground hip hop.
Since his initial forays into music, Xinxo has ventured into the solo arena with releases that include Tapes from a Stolen Car: The Victim, Marketing the Monsters, People Kill the Person and Names.
Today, Xinxo continues to create innovative and provocative music with a band called Super Sex Face, All The Dead Cholos and Toca that he created with psychedelic fusion musicians Ceschi Ramos and multi-instrumentalists. *
